Pricing questions
What counts as a "prompt"?
A question a real customer might ask an AI engine — "best CRM for Indian SMBs", "sabse accha protein powder". Depra runs each of your prompts on every engine in your plan and records whether your brand was named, how prominently, and which sources the engine cited. Your prompt count is the total across all your projects.
Why is Perplexity tracked weekly when the others are daily?
Perplexity charges a flat fee on every request that is roughly three times what the other engines cost us, and no volume discount touches it. Rather than raise everyone's price to hide that, we run ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews daily and Perplexity weekly. It is an honest cost trade, not a limitation of the product.
Do you really track Hindi and Hinglish?
Yes, on every plan including Free — language is the point of the product, not an upsell. You can write prompts in English, Devanagari Hindi or romanised Hinglish, and see your visibility split by language. Note that Hindi-specific Google AI Overviews capture is still on our roadmap; today Hindi prompts run through the four live engines.
Is GST included?
No — listed prices exclude GST. We add 18% at checkout and issue a proper GST invoice with your GSTIN on record, so registered businesses can claim input tax credit. Add your GSTIN in project settings before paying.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut you off the moment you cancel. After that your workspace moves to the Free plan and your historical data is kept.
What happens if I hit my limits?
Prompt and project caps are enforced when you add new ones, so nothing stops working unexpectedly. Each plan also has a monthly run allowance sized to cover its full prompt count with headroom; if you somehow exhaust it, tracking slows to weekly for the rest of the month rather than stopping, and you can top up.
How is this different from an SEO rank tracker?
Rank trackers tell you where you sit in a list of blue links. Depra reads the actual answer an AI engine gives — whether you are named in the sentence, in what tone, in which position, and which websites it cited to get there. That last part is the actionable bit: the fastest way to get mentioned is usually to get cited by the sources the engine already trusts.
