What is Ahrefs Brand Radar?
Ahrefs Brand Radar is the AI visibility tool inside Ahrefs. Its page says it tracks a brand's visibility across AI answers, YouTube and Reddit (Ahrefs Brand Radar, checked 8 Oct 2026). It works in two ways, listed below. Google AI Overviews are the AI summaries above normal Google results, and Google AI Mode is Google's chat-style search mode.
The Brand Radar page gives the size of the index as 462M+ monthly prompts (Ahrefs Brand Radar, checked 8 Oct 2026). An older Ahrefs help article, dated 3 September 2026, says 405+ million (Ahrefs help centre, checked 8 Oct 2026). Each prompt is built from a real search in the Ahrefs keyword database.
Ahrefs says the index works best for established brands or topics with real search demand, and that Custom Prompts suit brands that are not yet well known (Ahrefs Brand Radar, checked 8 Oct 2026).

Brand Radar is sold three ways: inside paid Ahrefs plans, as packages of checks for your own prompts, and as the AI Visibility Index. Paid plans start at $129 a month with 5 tracked prompts, check packages at $50 a month and the index at $199 a month. Ahrefs says its prices are in US dollars and may vary slightly by region (Ahrefs help centre, checked 8 Oct 2026). A check is one prompt on one platform in one location. In the examples Ahrefs gives, 5 prompts checked daily on 1 platform use 150 checks a month, the Lite allowance (Ahrefs Brand Radar, checked 8 Oct 2026). The pricing page shows the $50 package as 80 prompts daily on 1 platform (Ahrefs pricing, checked 8 Oct 2026).
The pricing FAQ says Ahrefs does not run discounts and points site owners to the Ahrefs Free account (Ahrefs pricing, checked 8 Oct 2026). The free Ahrefs AI Visibility Checker shows a limited preview of the index (checked 8 Oct 2026).

Who should stay with Ahrefs Brand Radar?

- Stay if you research many brands. The index covers any brand, product or category with no setup, with responses going back to 2025.
- Stay if you need Copilot, AI Mode or Claude. The index covers Copilot and AI Mode, and Custom Prompts add Claude.
- Look elsewhere, or use only Custom Prompts, if your brand is new. Ahrefs says the index may have limited coverage for brands with little or no search volume.

It has no full site audit of schema, headings or internal links. Schema is code on a page that tells search engines and AI what the page is about. Depra AI has no free plan. It sends no alerts by email, WhatsApp or Slack and no scheduled or emailed reports. It has no general REST API, which developers use to pull data into other software.
