Choose AnsarAEO if you want Hindi and other Indian-language prompts, fixes drafted and pushed to WordPress or Shopify, revenue attribution (orders and revenue traced back to visits from AI search), or WhatsApp and Slack alerts: its plans cost ₹1,999, ₹4,999 and ₹9,999 a month, with a 14-day trial and no card. Choose Depra if you want Google AI Overviews, the AI summary Google shows above its results, tracked next to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity on every plan, with daily checks from the entry price: Depra starts at ₹1,999 a month plus GST, with 7 days free and no card.

What is AnsarAEO?
AnsarAEO is an AI search visibility tool for Indian brands and agencies. AEO in its name stands for answer engine optimisation, the work of getting a brand named in AI answers. Its homepage says it tracks how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini talk about a brand in English, Hindi and Hinglish, then drafts fixes to win the mention (AnsarAEO homepage). Hinglish means Hindi and English typed in English letters, the way most Indians ask ("sabse accha protein powder kaunsa hai"). The site says the product is built in India. It does not publish a city or a legal company name on its homepage, pricing, product or about pages.
Its product page lists daily prompt tracking, a visibility score, share of voice (your share of all brand mentions in the answers), Hindi and Hinglish prompts, Auto-Fix deployment, a structured data generator, weekly reports, revenue attribution, white-label reports, and WhatsApp and Slack alerts (AnsarAEO product page). Growth adds an AI agent you can chat with about your visibility data. The product FAQ says it covers ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini today, with Claude, Grok and DeepSeek on the roadmap.
What is AnsarAEO Auto-Fix?
Auto-Fix is AnsarAEO's feature for writing fixes. The homepage says AnsarAEO drafts the schema markup and content, then pushes it to WordPress or Shopify in one click. Schema markup is code on a page that tells search engines and AI what the page is about. The about page says every AI draft is labelled and needs your review before it goes live (AnsarAEO about page). Auto-Fix is listed on the Growth plan.
When is AnsarAEO the better choice?
AnsarAEO is the better choice when you want the tool to do more of the fixing, or when your buyers ask in Hindi script or regional languages. These are the points where AnsarAEO offers something Depra does not.
- Your buyers type Hindi or regional languages. AnsarAEO lists Hindi prompts from Starter and names Tamil, Bengali and Marathi on higher plans. Depra tracks English and Hinglish, and does not track Hindi in Devanagari script.
- You want content and schema written for you. Auto-Fix drafts pages and schema and pushes them to your CMS after review. Depra ranks places to get mentioned and page formats to publish, and your team does the writing. Depra does not audit schema or headings.
- You want AI answers tied to sales. AnsarAEO Growth lists revenue attribution from AI search to sessions, orders and revenue, with GA4, Shopify and Razorpay. Depra has no referral traffic or revenue data.
- You want alerts, emails or an API. AnsarAEO lists a weekly email report on Starter, WhatsApp and Slack alerts and API access on Scale. Depra has no alerts, no scheduled reports and no public API.
- You want more prompts for the money. AnsarAEO Growth gives 100 prompts for ₹4,999 and Scale gives 300 for ₹9,999. Depra Growth gives 100 prompts for ₹7,499. Check engines and run frequency as well as the prompt count.
- You sell on marketplaces at enterprise scale. AnsarAEO Enterprise lists Amazon.in and Flipkart AI shopping visibility, SSO (single sign-on, so staff log in with their company account) and custom engines. Depra does not track marketplace shopping assistants.
- You want a longer trial. AnsarAEO's trial runs 14 days, against Depra's 7. Neither asks for a card.
How much does AnsarAEO cost?
AnsarAEO costs ₹1,999 a month for Starter, ₹4,999 for Growth and ₹9,999 for Scale, with Enterprise priced on request. Yearly billing gives 2 months free, every plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no card, and AnsarAEO says you can cancel in one click (AnsarAEO pricing, checked 15 Sep 2026). The pricing page has a separate tab for agencies, and it does not say whether GST is included.
Depra has four plans in rupees, each with all 4 engines, English and Hinglish, and any of 40 markets. Prices exclude 18% GST. The full list is on Depra pricing.

What does Depra do differently?
Depra takes the questions your buyers ask, asks them to ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity from inside your chosen country, stores every full answer, and records whether each answer named you, in what order, in what tone and which web pages it cited. ChatGPT and Gemini answers are read from the consumer web apps, so you see the answers real people see there.
- Google AI Overviews on every plan. Depra reads the Overview from a real Google results page for your query in your country, with its source links, and also records how often an Overview appears at all.
- Daily checks from ₹1,999. Starter checks ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews daily and Perplexity weekly, the same schedule as Enterprise. Plans differ by prompts, projects and competitors.
- Hinglish on every plan. Depra suggests 5 topics with 8 buying questions each, plus Hinglish versions when India is a market, and your report splits visibility by English and Hinglish. See Hinglish AI visibility tracking.
- Scores without your own name in the question. Questions that already contain your brand are left out by default. Your report shows a confidence range for each engine, which tells you how much a score could move by chance.
- Websites that recommend competitors but never you. Depra finds them at domain, subdomain and page level, filters out competitors' own sites, then ranks up to 12 places to get mentioned and 12 page formats to publish. See citation gap analysis.
- 41 AI crawlers and 40 countries. Depra checks which of 41 AI crawlers from 26 vendors can read your site and competitors' sites, and tracks buyers in 40 countries, including India, the UK, the Gulf and the United States.
Hindi or Hinglish: which should you track?
Track the language your buyers type. Many Indian buyers type Hindi words in English letters, which is Hinglish, and the language changes the answer. In Depra's study of 480 answers asked from India, Gemini cited sources in 90.0% of English answers and 41.3% of Hinglish answers. The list of brands named changed beyond normal rerun noise by 2.2 points in ChatGPT, 7.8 in Gemini and 23.4 in Perplexity (Hinglish vs English AI shopping study).
If your buyers type in Devanagari script or in Tamil, Bengali or Marathi, AnsarAEO lists those languages and Depra does not track them. If they ask in English and Hinglish, both tools cover you, so compare engines and run frequency.
