What is Pallix?

Pallix is an AI visibility tool made by Pallix Technologies Pvt Ltd, founded in 2025 in Pune (Pallix about page). It tracks how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot mention a brand, which competitors those answers name, and which sources they cite, in the countries you select (Pallix FAQ).

Its homepage lists these capabilities: visibility score tracking, citation intelligence (which sources AI cites), competitor share of voice (each brand's share of all brand mentions in the answers), a technical AI readiness audit, local-language prompts, sentiment, hallucination detection (flagging false statements AI makes about a brand), Reddit and community signals, AI traffic tracking and a ranked action plan (Pallix homepage). Pallix also publishes research on Indian brands, and says its citation study was covered by afaqs!, IndianTelevision.com and Campaign India.

On collection, a Pallix blog post says the tool queries each engine through its front end, the screen people use, from home internet connections (residential IPs) in your target market, in the language buyers use, including code-mixed Hinglish for India (Pallix blog). Its FAQ is more careful: coverage of local-language prompts "depends on the category and setup". Hinglish means Hindi and English typed in English letters, the way most Indians ask ("sabse accha protein powder kaunsa hai").

What does Pallix's free audit include?

The free Pallix audit needs no account or card. You enter a brand, website, market, an optional city and a work email. Pallix runs 20 buyer prompts across 3 AI surfaces, 60 live checks in total, and says the result is usually ready in about 10 minutes. You get a visibility score, a prompt where a competitor wins, a citation gap, key sources and first actions. It is a one-time snapshot, and ongoing tracking needs the trial or a paid plan.

When is Pallix the better choice?

Pallix is the better choice when you want more engines, more people in the account, or a wider set of signals around the answers. These are the points where Pallix offers something Depra does not.

  • You need Microsoft Copilot. Pallix Growth and Agency track Copilot along with Perplexity. Depra tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, and does not track Copilot.
  • You want proof before an account. The Pallix audit runs without signup. Depra has no public audit: your first scan starts when you sign up for the trial.
  • Your whole team needs logins. Pallix includes unlimited seats on every plan. Depra has no team seats or invites today.
  • You want alerts and traffic data. Pallix lists scheduled monitoring and alerts on paid plans, and AI-referred visitors on Starter. Depra has no alerts and no AI referral traffic data.
  • You want a technical audit of your site. Pallix lists a technical AI readiness audit. Depra checks which AI bots your robots.txt allows and whether you publish llms.txt, and does not audit schema or headings. robots.txt is the file that tells bots which pages they may read, and llms.txt is a plain-text guide to your site written for AI.
  • You want Reddit and market signals. Pallix Growth adds Reddit, editorial and marketplace signals for up to 5 categories. Depra shows the websites AI cites, labelled by type, and has no separate Reddit module.
  • You want a longer trial or city context. The Pallix trial runs 14 days against Depra's 7, and its audit lets you pick an Indian city. Depra works at country level only.

How much does Pallix cost?

Pallix costs ₹2,499 a month for Starter and ₹5,999 a month for Growth on monthly billing, or ₹2,249 and ₹5,399 a month billed annually. Agency and Enterprise pricing is custom. Every plan is priced per brand, includes unlimited seats and starts with a 14-day trial of 20 prompts refreshed daily across all 5 AI surfaces (Pallix pricing, checked 15 Sep 2026). The pricing page shows prices in INR and does not say whether GST is included.

Depra has four plans in rupees, each with all 4 engines, English and Hinglish, and any of 40 markets. Prices exclude 18% GST. The full list is on Depra pricing.

Pallix prices from its pricing page, per brand. Depra prices exclude 18% GST. Depra add-ons: 25 more prompts for ₹1,999 a month, 1,500 extra checks for ₹1,499 one-time.

What does Depra do differently?

Depra takes the questions your buyers ask, asks them to ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity from inside your chosen country, stores every full answer, and records whether each answer named you, in what order, in what tone and which web pages it cited. ChatGPT and Gemini answers are read from the consumer web apps, so you see the answers real people see there.

  • Four engines on every plan. Starter at ₹1,999 checks ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews daily and Perplexity weekly, the same as Enterprise. Plans differ by prompts, projects and competitors.
  • Hinglish on every plan. Depra suggests 5 topics with 8 buying questions each, plus Hinglish versions when India is a market, and your report splits visibility by English and Hinglish. See Hinglish AI visibility tracking.
  • Scores without your own name in the question. Questions that already contain your brand are left out by default, so your score counts only answers where AI chose to name you. Your report shows a confidence range for each engine, which tells you how much a score could move by chance.
  • A ranked list of where to get mentioned. Depra shows the websites that recommend your competitors but never mention you, then ranks up to 12 places to get mentioned and up to 12 page formats to publish. Mark one done and you get a before-and-after view of your visibility, not proof that the action caused the change. See citation gap analysis.
  • 41 AI crawlers checked. Depra checks which of 41 AI crawlers from 26 vendors can read your site and your competitors' sites, with the exact robots.txt rule for each.
  • Published prices for agencies. Scale covers 25 projects for ₹12,499 a month, with 180 prompts shared across them. Reports carry your logo and colours.

Does the language of the question change the answer?

Yes, and it matters for both tools. In Depra's study of 480 answers asked from India, Gemini cited sources in 90.0% of English answers and 41.3% of Hinglish answers. The list of brands named changed beyond normal rerun noise by 2.2 points in ChatGPT, 7.8 in Gemini and 23.4 in Perplexity (Hinglish vs English AI shopping study).

If your buyers ask in Hinglish, test any tool on Hinglish questions during the trial and check that the answers are stored and reported by language.
