No. By default, Depra leaves prompts that already contain your brand name out of your visibility and other scores, so the numbers are not inflated. Every question Depra suggests is written without your brand name.
Why are branded questions left out?
A question like 'is Brand X any good?' almost always returns Brand X. Counting it would push your visibility up without showing whether AI recommends you to buyers who have not heard of you.
An unbranded question, such as 'best sunscreen for oily skin under ₹500', shows whether AI brings your brand up on its own. That is the number that matters for new buyers.
What counts as a branded question?
A prompt is branded when it contains your brand name or one of its name variants. Depra works this out for each prompt when you add it.
| Prompt | Type | Counts in scores |
|---|---|---|
| is Brand X sunscreen good for oily skin | Branded | No, by default |
| Brand X vs Brand Y sunscreen | Branded | No, by default |
| Brand Y vs Brand Z sunscreen | Non-branded | Yes |
| best sunscreen for oily skin under ₹500 | Non-branded | Yes |
| oily skin ke liye sabse accha sunscreen kaunsa hai | Non-branded | Yes |
Can I still track a question that names my brand?
Yes. You can add any prompt, including one with your brand name, and read every answer it gets. It stays out of your scores by default. The scoring rules are on how AI visibility is calculated.
