Depra checks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews once a day and Perplexity once a week, on every plan. Daily checks are scheduled for 02:30 IST, and your first scan starts at signup.
Why is Perplexity checked weekly?
Perplexity charges a flat fee for every request, with no volume discount, so Depra checks it once a week on every plan. ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews stay daily.
What happens when I reach my monthly run limit?
Each plan has a monthly ceiling on runs. One run is one engine answering one prompt in one market. If your account reaches its ceiling, scheduled checks drop to weekly for the rest of the month instead of stopping, so data keeps coming in.
| Plan | Prompts | Runs a month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 20 | 2,400 |
| Growth | 100 | 11,000 |
| Scale | 180 | 19,000 |
| Enterprise | 400 | 40,000 |
How many answers does a plan collect?
On Starter, 20 prompts in one market come to about 1,900 answers a month: three engines daily plus Perplexity weekly. Every answer is stored in full, so each score shows the number of answers behind it.
How should I read day-to-day changes?
AI engines can name different brands when the same question is asked twice, so one day is a sample. The daily brief, a page inside the app, lists a visibility change only when it is larger than normal run-to-run noise and each day has at least 5 answers. Compare weeks or months for a steadier view. The rules are on how Depra measures AI visibility.
To run the same comparison by hand, follow how to track brand mentions in ChatGPT and AI answers.
