Depra tracks four AI engines: ChatGPT with web search, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Every plan includes all four, with ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews checked daily and Perplexity checked weekly.
Google AI Mode, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI are not tracked.
What does Depra record from each engine?
Each engine gets the same buyer questions, asked from inside the country you choose. Depra stores every full answer and the websites it cites. The capture steps are on how Depra captures AI answers.
Engines often disagree on the same question, which is covered in why your brand is on Perplexity but not ChatGPT.
| Engine | What Depra records | How often |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT | The answer shown in the chatgpt.com web app, with web search switched on | Daily |
| Gemini | The answer shown in the gemini.google.com web app | Daily |
| Google AI Overviews | The AI Overview on a real Google results page for that search in that country, its source links, and whether an Overview appeared at all | Daily |
| Perplexity | The answer from its Sonar model with live web search, set to your country | Weekly |
Which AI engines are not tracked?
These engines and scripts are not tracked on any plan:
- Google AI Mode: Google's separate chat-style search mode. Depra reads AI Overviews only.
- Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI: no answers are collected from these assistants.
- Hindi in Devanagari script: questions written in Hindi script are not tracked. Hinglish (Hindi and English typed in English letters) is tracked.
Do all plans include the same engines?
Yes. Starter at ₹1,999 a month, Growth, Scale and Enterprise all track the same four engines on the same schedule. Plans differ in how many prompts, projects and competitors you can track. Prices and limits are on Depra pricing.
